At this community-focused opticians, I transformed their social media presence with creative content that made eye health engaging and accessible. I designed and executed campaigns for events such as National Eye Health Week, crafted product spotlights that highlighted both style and health benefits, and created warm, informative posts that helped build connections with our local community.
The Little Library Project was executed during my time in San Francisco. This was a special project that I held near and dear to my heart. I wanted to find a way for me to give back to the community that had welcomed me with such open arms, so I gathered some of the children in my neighbourhood and together we built, painted, and adorned the structure which now sits at the intersection between 18th street and Missouri. We decided to decorate the library in the style of a house, inspired by the colourful Victorian houses of the city. Each child decorated a window, and I made the interior “glow” using glow-in-the-dark stars to add a touch of whimsy for the children that would pass by.
